As a key hi-tech enterprise supported by Chinese government, Hangzhou Huadong Medicine Group Kangrun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the production, research, development and trade of proprietary Chinese medicines, natural product drugs, natural extracts and Chemical synthetic drugs. The main product of our proprietary Chinese medicines-"Shujin Huoxue Capsules” is the national patented product; new traditional Chinese medicine-"Pingchuan Yiqi capsules" was approved into production in 2008; natural extract-"coenzyme Q10"is the product of national torch plan, and its manufacturing method got the National invention patent of China; moreover, our "liquorice extract" and "huperzine A" are the "product of innovation fund of Ministry of science and technology"; in the past five years, we annually sold more than CNY 60 million of products, and sold over CNY 100 million of products in last year.

We founded enterprise technology center in 2006, and it was approved as the "R&D center of high and new technology enterprise of Zhejiang province" in 2009. Now, our R&D center covers an area of more than 1,000sqm, and is consisted of 3 centers (test center, natural medicine research center, chemical synthesis research center) and 2 pilot plants (extraction of natural products and preparations of proprietary Chinese medicines). There are 2 senior technicians, 12 medium technicians and over 30 bachelors in our center, and we have invested about 5% of R&D funds in the development of new products and technologies. We annually invested more than CNY 5 million in R&D since 2009.

Based on the advantages of our center and the platform of East China Pharmaceutical New Drug Research Institute, we have successfully established closely cooperative relations with Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Wuhan University, Wuhan Institute of Botany of Chinese Academy and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University since our foundation. Under the supports of the "industry-university-research" innovation system, we share resources with them and have found complete R&D platforms of technology development, testing analysis and pilot-test verification.

We have taken and finished a number of projects since our foundation, including several national torch plan projects, innovation fund projects of technical small and mid-sized enterprise and key projects of innovation fund of technical small and mid-sized enterprise and we have carried out over 20 R&D plans of new products of Zhejiang province. Some of our products are the hi-tech products of Zhejiang province now. Moreover, our several technical achievements have got the technical advancement prizes of city and county. Up to now, we have successfully applied for 6 patents for invention, 3 of them are approved and 3 are in the period of substantial examination. In addition, our "Pingchuan Yiqi capsules" has got the certificate of new traditional Chinese medicine. Now, we are applying for the generic drug certificates of everolimus, pramipexole dihydrochloride and other drugs.
